1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Kamal & Associates website (the "Site") or engaging our legal services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

2.2 Attorney-Client Relationship

No attorney-client relationship is formed by:

• Visiting our website
• Submitting a consultation request
• Sending us an email or message

An attorney-client relationship is only established when we have formally agreed to represent you, typically through a signed engagement letter or retainer agreement.

2.3 Confidentiality

Information shared during consultations and legal representation is protected by attorney-client privilege under Bangladesh law. However, information submitted through our website before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be protected.

3. Consultation Services

3.1 Free First Consultation

We offer one free consultation per unique visitor. Eligibility is determined by:

• Email address verification
• Bangladesh mobile number verification

Each individual is entitled to only one free consultation. Attempting to obtain multiple free consultations using different contact information is prohibited and may result in service denial.

3.2 Paid Consultations

Subsequent consultations require payment of BDT 3,000 (Three Thousand Bangladeshi Taka) per session. This fee is:

• Non-refundable once the consultation has taken place
• Payable in advance through our secure payment system
• Subject to change with prior notice

3.3 Consultation Scheduling

Consultations are subject to attorney availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

3.4 Cancellation Policy

• Free Consultations: May be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment
• Paid Consultations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for rescheduling or credit. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

3.5 Supporting Documents

You may optionally upload documents relevant to your matter (e.g., contracts, agreements, correspondence) when booking a consultation, up to 5 files and 10MB per file. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of any document you upload; do not upload documents you are not authorized to share with us.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

We do not operate an automated payment gateway on this Site. Consultation fees are paid by scanning our Bangla QR code and paying directly from your own account using:

• Mobile Financial Services: bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay
• Mobile or internet banking apps

4.2 Payment Security

Because your payment is made entirely within your own banking or MFS app, we never receive, see, or store your:

• Card numbers or CVV
• Mobile banking PINs
• MFS account credentials

4.3 Payment Verification

After paying, you provide the transaction/reference ID shown in your banking or MFS app. Our staff manually cross-check this reference against our own account activity before confirming your consultation; you will receive a confirmation email once verification is complete.

Consultation requests remain pending, and the requested time slot is not guaranteed, until this manual verification is complete. Providing an incorrect or unverifiable reference ID will delay or prevent confirmation.

4.4 Refund Policy

• Refund requests for cancelled consultations are reviewed individually and, where approved, returned to the same bKash/Nagad/Rocket/banking account the payment was made from
• Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
• Refunds are not automatic — please contact us directly to request one

4.5 Legal Service Fees

Fees for ongoing legal representation are determined on a case-by-case basis and will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or retainer agreement.

5. Website Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use our website for:

• Learning about our services
• Scheduling consultations
• Contacting us with inquiries
• Accessing legal resources and blog content

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

• Submit false or misleading information

• Upload any file that is unlawful, infringes another party's rights, or contains malicious code
